Can I surrender my pet to the Humane Society of Fremont County?
We do accept owner-surrendered pets, but we encourage you to exhaust all other options before surrendering. Contact us to discuss your situation and learn more about our surrender process.
When surrendering a pet, we require a surrender fee to help cover the cost of caring for the animal. We also ask for any medical records, behavior history, and other information that will help us provide the best care for the animal.
Please keep in mind that we have limited space and resources, and we may not be able to accept all surrendered pets. We encourage pet owners to explore other options, such as reaching out to family and friends, contacting other shelters or rescue groups, or seeking assistance from local pet support organizations.
